Body Yogurts: 15 Seconds To Glowing Skin

Walking past the Body Shop store’s window in Dubai Mall, a set of tubs neatly stacked on top of each other immediately caught my eye. Upon a closer look, I read the words Body Yogurt written on the colorful product. I decided to pop into the store to find out more about it. Stores like The Body Shop and Lush always have this beautiful and calming scent that lingers around the store and draws you in!

 

As this product had just launched, the body yogurts were placed in the middle of the store with testers in view. I immediately fell for the gel-like consistency of the product! I was also told that the body yogurts were Vegan and made with Community Trade almond milk from Spain. I couldn’t get myself to pick out the scent I wanted to purchase as the product comes in 6 different nature-inspired fragrances (Almond, Banana, Strawberry, Mango, British Rose and Moringa). I eventually decided to purchase my top favorites: Banana, Almond, Strawberry and Mango (I’m guessing you can tell I wasn’t able to choose after all).

I have always applied body lotion as soon as I jump out of the shower, no matter what the weather is like or what I’m wearing for the day. The body yogurts have a lightweight formula that is super hydrating (provides up to 48 hours of hydration) and is absorbed quickly upon application (15 seconds to be precise). I’ve always disliked how I have to wait a while, after applying body lotion, in order to put on my trousers. With this product, I didn’t have to worry about that as I could slip into my trousers immediately. It also worked so well on the damp skin typically seen after a shower which is a great bonus.

 

The non-greasy and fast absorbing formula of this product makes it ideal for summer and winter. Each tub lasts me a long way before I find myself getting another one. This is definitely one of my best purchases from The Body Shop and my new favorite lotion! Like all Body Shop products, the body yogurts are cruelty free.
